The NATO Tiger Association or the Association of Tiger Squadrons was established in 1961. Its role is to promote solidarity between NATO air forces. It is not, though, part of the formal NATO structure. Fliegerstaffel 11 became member of the Nato Tiger Association in 1981 and is a regular participant at the annual Nato Tiger Meet exercise.
The Patrouille Suisse was founded back in 1964 and still is the official jet display team of the Swiss Air Force. Its mission is to demonstrate the performance, precision and readiness of our Air Force. Its six pilots (some of them flying for Fliegerstaffel 11) give you an insight into the fascination of formation flying and motivates young people to choose a career in aviation.
With its dynamic, elegant and precise flight performances, the PC-7 TEAM proves to the public that the Swiss Armed Forces and Air Force are highly trained and capable of top performances. The pilots (some of them from Fliegerstaffel 11) show the crowd how they master the dynamics of military flying.

Der Verein Pro Flugplatz Meiringen setzt sich für die Interessen des Militärflugplatzes Meiringen ein.
Neben der angemessenen Rücksichtnahme auf die Bevölkerung, den Tourismus und die regionalen Wirtschaft fordert der Verein den langfristigen Erhalt des Jet-Betriebs in Meiringen.
Als kompetente Organisation leisten die über 1500 Mitglieder einen wichtigen Beitrag zur öffentlichen Meinungsbildung in Fragen rund um den Flugplatz Meiringen und seine Bedeutung für die Sicherheit der Schweiz.
